Peaceful with good facilities.
Great hospitality, delicious food either grown by themselves or sourced locally, it really is hard to fault as an agirturismo. They manage portions to avoid waste but they are happy to bring more if you want it both at breakfast and dinner, Grazia and Riccardo really couldn’t be more accommodating (particularly if the children didn’t want something on offer for example). Also, having been to some poor quality pools in agriturismos, I have to say this one is excellent. It’s kept in great condition and has a beautiful view over the hills. The trade-off for the peace is its a bit of a drive to get to key places but its 20 mins to the train station for those who want to avoid the drive into Florence.

We stayed here on recommendation from a family member for part of our honeymoon. It was everything we expected and more. The hospitality of Grazia and Riccardo was incredible. We ate amazing home cooked food from their garden (catered for me being a vegetarian) and met some lovely guests at dinner and breakfast. The owners are so passionate about food and their country we were excited to be here!
The pool was impressive and The grounds/room were very clean. We both felt so comfortable and will definitely be telling our friends and family to stay here in Tuscany, we will be back again for sure.

Magical place set in the Tuscan hills.
From the moment we arrived my friend and I had the most magical stay. Riccardo and Grazia are wonderful hosts and share their passion and knowledge of the local area with you. It was an absolute joy to stay here and experience the amazing meals and facilities on offer. The grounds are beautiful and the views are exquisite. I would definitely recommend a holiday here and I can’t wait to return!

Magical farmhouse stay in the outskirts of Florence.
Riccardo and Grazia were very gracious hosts, making you feel like you are at home away from home. From the moment I arrived until i left, they were helpful and accomodating in every sense. The views from this propoerty are amazing, the tranquility and of course, the food prepared by both Riccardo and Grazia was always fresh and heartfelt. Two beautiful people running a great farmhouse stay, highly recommend.

Great vacations at Podere Picciolo… Grazie Grazia.
My husband and I stayed at the Podere Picciolo in June (I know, it took a while before writing this review!). We found that lovely house after several researches on the web and we are so happy we found it! Upon our arrival, we felt the warm welcome of everyone working at the house and we were charmed by the lovely scene and accommodation- even better and most beautiful than what we see on the pictures, trust me! It was easy to find if you just take your time and follow the signs (no need GPS at all!!) and easy to reach out to the main place to visit (either by car for Sienna, Montepulciano, or train for Firenze). Food, what can we say about the food? That was just FANTASTIC! Grazia and her friend is just a great cook and we had dinner there every night. We had the BEST lasagna of the world there with a variety of meal everyday and trust me again, you wil have enough to eat there! All is fresh from their own garden, olive oil from their own trees and fresh wine that flow all night long. Although we were first intimitated by having dinner at the same table of strangers from around the world, we finally met such great people and this experience is part of the best ones we had through all our trip. Please, do not hesitate to book at Podere Picciolo, you won’t regret it at all.

My husband and I were celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary and stayed here on the recommendation of friends and we were NOT dissappointed. What a Tuscan Gem….. Our hosts Grazia and Riccardo were so accommodating and made us feel like we belonged from the start. Everything from our room to the food (so loving prepared fresh every day) by Grazia was amazing. Dinner each night out under the Vine covered patio was enjoyable, we met some lovely people. Oh and of course the homemade wine which flowed freely was wonderful too. We cannot thank our hosts and their staff enough for making our Tuscan adventure so memorable and we hope to visit again. Finally for the ladies, The Outlet Mall is just a quick 15 min drive away, just another perk when staying here.

My wife and i had the chance to find this hidden jewell in the mountains of toscany about 30 minutes From Florence.The view From this location is fantastic (car needed ).The suite,the wonderfull pool,and mostly the kindness of owner,and chef,Grazia is something we Will remember all our Life.THANK you Ricardo and Grazia.
