PODERE PICCIOLO is a warm and welcoming farmhouse in the heart of the Tuscan countryside.
The farmhouse occupies a privileged position, within easy reach of cities rich in artistic and historic tradition; Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Certaldo, Cortona, and the Chianti region.
The farmhouse, which enjoys spectacular views of the valleys below and of the hills of Chianti, is situated in traditional Tuscan countryside, nestled on the hilltop of San Donato in Fronzano in the township of Reggello, and surrounded by unspoilt nature.
Grazia and Riccardo Busso have restructured the antique stone farmhouse respecting the original style, but providing a level of services that guarantee a comfortable and relaxing vacation.
There are five luminous rooms equipped with modern comforts (air conditioner, internet plug & wireless, flat screen TV and bathroom with shower).
Each room is different and takes its name from the décor and style of the room. The rooms are “Fiaccheraio ( Coachman) "Vasaio" (Vasemaker), "Stagnino" (Tinker), "Conciaio" (Tanner), and "Cappellaio" (Hatmaker).
The farmhouse can also be rented out in its entirety, including the five double bedrooms, the dining room with large fireplace and the spacious kitchen.
Expansion projects for 2010 include an apartment for four people and swimming pool with scenic views.
The owners’ philosophy is reflected in the familiar ambience of the farmhouse; close to nature, and far away from the frenetic pace of the city. Guests are invited to use the common areas, the living room and the kitchen, the patio and gardens, in order to share the delights of a convivial and relaxing style of living.
An outstanding feature of the PODERE PICCIOLO farmhouse is the attention devoted to the cuisine.
Grazia Busso dedicates her time with passion to the preparation of delicious dishes using the freshest local ingredients.
The area, renown for it’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil, also offers an array of other typical produce including cheeses, fresh meat, preserves and cured meats.
On request we can organise cooking courses and guided wine tastings, excursions in the countryside by foot or on horseback, and trips to the artistic and historical cities of Tuscany and in Italy.
